An American sub-variety of the bishop's mitre. Excellent edible pumpkin with an unusual, turban-like shape. Color initially grey-blue, later orange-brown with orange spots. Weighs approx. 3 kg, thick-fleshed, rather dry, very sweet and chestnut-like taste, long shelf life Tip: As it is very difficult to peel raw, it is better to boil it in large pieces or steam it in the oven and then scrape out the flesh.
