Season Overview

Description

Climbing. High-yielding. The ripe, round fruits look like oranges. Hard skin when ripe. Grow to 6-8 cm in size and weigh no more than 200 g. Due to the low weight of the fruit, well suited for climbing. Can be harvested unripe as the fruit ripens. Good shelf life. Development time approx. 90 days. Good for stuffing or cooking whole as a quick meal (pierce a hole beforehand to prevent them from bursting).

Growing tips

Fertilize and water regularly. Sheltered from the wind. Sensitive to frost. Cover with a fleece on cold nights below 10°C.
