Description

'Vegetable Spaghetti' is an unusual and easy to cultivate garden squash. Best suited for greening compost piles. Its fruits contain spaghetti-like fibers when ripe, which can be steamed. Slightly climbing. Uncomplicated, but high water and nutrient requirements. Yellowish, cream-colored, cylindrical fruits. About 1-3 kg in weight. The fibrous flesh of the ripe fruits resembles the taste of zucchini. Medium shelf life. Skin is not edible.

Growing tips

Ideal for desserts, creams, cakes or pumpkin soup. The garden squash can be stored until winter, if this is done in a cool, dry place.
