Speckled radicchio, early, large variety with loose head formation. A smaller-leaved and less bitter variety that is more reminiscent of lettuce in terms of growth. Red speckled, with juicy leaf ribs. Can be harvested in the 2nd year from April, overwinters. Ideal with mustard vinaigrette and for cooking (risotto!).
