Description

Metre bean Metro Austrosaat Gourmet Edition Meter Bean Metro (Vigna unguiculata ssp. sesquipdalis) grows up to one meter long in its native habitat. In the Central European climate area, 40-60 cm/15.7-23.6 in long beans can be expected. Preparation is the same as for other beans. Direct sowing: On finely prepared bed, about 3 m/3.3 yd long stalks are inserted into the soil at a distance of 100x50 cm/39.4x19.7 in. Approximately 20 cm/7.9 in away in a circle around the sticks are sown 6-7 grains each about 1-2 cm/0.4-0.8 in deep.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips
