Today I harvested 2.2 kg of tomatoes and 2.8 kg of (shelled) corn. Our neighbors and family are thrilled. 😋 I’m going to cook the corn and vacuum-seal it. It’s my first time doing this—I hope everything goes well. 🫡

Das muss ich auch sagen. Wir „entkernen“ ihn, blanchieren und frosten dann weg. So kann man immer eine kleine Portion abnehmen, wenn man sie braucht 😉

Unseren Zuckermais friere ich gleich ab Beet ein. Das klappt wunderbar.

Was darf ich mir unter „gleich ab Beet einfrieren“ vorstellen! Ohne blanchieren/kochen den ganzen Kolben (ohne Haut und Haar versteht sich 😉)?

Ja. Es ist allerdings Zuckermais. Bei Zubereitung ohne Autauen 10-12 min kochen, fertig.
