This cherry tomato variety is characterized above all by its appearance. When ripening, the fruits appear a dark blue-black on the shoulders, which turns into a dark brown-black on a shiny yellow background. This yellow also appears as a star at the top when the stem base is removed. The small fruits grow on clusters of up to 10 tomatoes. The tomatoes taste sweet and spicy at the same time. It is high-yielding and grows to a height of around 1.80-2.00m. The plant also shows a hint of blue-purple in the stem and leaves at an earlier stage of growth.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Tomatoes require a lot of light, warmth, water and nutrients. They are grown from seed on the windowsill from March. The seedlings should be planted deep, up to the first leaf base, so that the root system is enlarged by additional lateral roots. Unlike most other crops, tomatoes should always be planted in the same place. Under-sowing with low-growing plants is a good option.
