Description

Sperli's Lavender "Sperli's Blue Wonder" (Lavandula angustifolia) is a small perennial shrub with panicles of countless purple, fragrant flowers. Lavender should be cut back severely after flowering. If pruning is not done until spring, the shrub will also bloom very late in the year or not at all. The dried lavender flowers can be used to make dried arrangements, herbal pillows or as a bath additive. If pre-cultivated, "Sperli's Blue Wonder" should be transplanted outdoors from mid-May (frost-free) in a sunny position.
