Description

The BonBon Berry mulberry has many convincing advantages! The new variety with a winter hardiness of up to minus 15° C bears on old and new wood, which means you can pick fruit in the very first year! The compact dwarf variety only reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m (compared to normal mulberries, which can reach a height of 6 to 8 m) and is therefore suitable for any garden as well as for a pot on the patio or balcony. The mulberry fruit is all the rage thanks to its deliciously sweet taste and valuable ingredients. The mulberry BonBon Berry (Morus rotundiloba BonBonBerry Mojo Berry) can be eaten straight from the bush and is also very suitable for cakes, jam, fruit salad and much more. You can harvest the fruit for many weeks, from May to September. The plants are not only decorative as solitary plants, but also in borders or in a mixed planter. The BonBon Berry mulberry prefers a sunny location with fertile, well-drained soil. It can be pruned in spring. The perennial dwarf mulberry is hardy and has low to medium care and water requirements.
