With a fruit weight of up to 5 kg and surprisingly rapid ripening for outdoor cultivation, this watermelon was by far the best variety in our variety evaluation. The variety copes extremely well with drought and heat, but is also forgiving of the cold nights that repeatedly occur in May and June - which means that a virtually reliable harvest can be achieved. As the plants have relatively light foliage, we recommend growing them on mulch.
