Which plants can I find in the encyclopedia?

The Fryd encyclopedia is our huge plant library. You'll already find more than 3,000 varieties here, and more are added every day. They're organized into different categories (e.g. legumes), under which you'll find the individual species (e.g. fava bean). Within a species there are then different varieties with different characteristics (e.g. fava bean 'Hangdown', 'Eleonora', or 'Karmesin').

If you can't find your specific variety, you can create it in the library yourself and share it with the community ("Community varieties"). This way you help other Fryd gardeners, because they can see the variety you created and use it in their own garden plan too. So our database is a kind of "Wikipedia for vegetable varieties".

Our Fryd biology team works constantly to keep the quality of the plant library high and to review the data. You can recognize verified varieties by the purple checkmark and the note 'verified data'. So you can rely on the stored data of these varieties when planning your garden.
