Very early, fast-growing, sweet variety. Good taste and high content of vitamins, minerals and carotene. Wedge-shaped, blunt, semi-long (10-12cm), fast red-coloring roots with fine short foliage. For early cultivation under glass, foil and in the open field. Suitable as a raw vegetable, for freezing and canning, or for making juice. This carrot sore can be overwintered in the open ground if you sow another seed from late September to mid-October.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Sowing from January in the cold frame, from March to mid-June directly into the open field. Cover thinly with soil and keep moist. Row spacing 20-25cm, in the row 3-4 cm. Germination period 2-5 weeks. Germination temperature 6-20°C. Carrots germinate relatively slowly, radish is recommended as a marker seed. Separate strong seedlings with 4-5 leaves if necessary. Hoeing and weed control are important. Late sowings can be stored well.
