Description

It is a strong-growing and healthy variety with a high yield. It is insensitive to winter frost, drought and shoot dieback. The fruits are medium blue, large, firm and aromatic, with high yields. The tasty fruits ripen from August. A variety for the home garden as well as for commercial cultivation. Late ripening period, fruit light-coloured, up to 1.5 cm/0.6 in thick, semi-shady to sunny (then sufficiently moist), loves loose, deep and sufficiently moist soil, not too warm in summer, always plant several varieties for optimum fertilization.

Growing tips

Blueberries are shallow-rooted plants that only thrive in an acidic environment. It is best to plant them in a large tub in the ground. Cranberries are suitable as ground cover. Only water with rainwater. The plant does not tolerate lime. Nets keep greedy blackbirds away from the fruit.
