The Asian variety "Bekana" is fast-growing. Unlike Chinese cabbage, it does not form heads and has a softer, less blistered leaf. Pick the fine, light green, mild leaves from 15-20 cm/5.9-7.9 in in size, or harvest the whole plant as soon as a loose head appears. As a stir-fry vegetable, spinach, salad. Ideal for the cool season.
