Do you remember my “straw potatoes” experiment? I’ve harvested the first two mortar buckets and I’m really happy. I’ve never had potatoes this big before 😁 I’d like to leave the other mortar buckets as they are for now and harvest them only as needed. Do you think the potatoes will last in there without rotting or freezing? Maybe a mouse or two is hungry, too… what would you do? Should I play it safe and dig everything up right away? 💚
