For a change, here are some vegetable photos from me today (I just had to try out the camera on my new Fairphone 😉). Photo 1: The chili harvest has begun; so many are turning red now that I can start the drying process. When it comes to tomatoes this year, a cocktail tomato variety I grew from seeds a friend gave me and the Cherokee Purple beefsteak tomato are the standouts. We usually grow lettuce in pots next to the tomatoes—that way, the snails can’t get to it 😊 Photo 5 shows the #Malabar spinach, which I’m trying for the first time this year. It’s just really taking off now. The Swiss chard is also thriving and keeps finding its way into various dishes. I’ve been growing parsley and carrots in pots and in a mini raised bed for years,
firstly for space reasons (I need every square meter for native flowering plants for the insects 😂) and secondly, because they never do well in the garden bed for me.
And the last photo shows the #tomato-pepper ‘Lozi,’ my favorite among peppers!

I just read an article on the Fairphone and thinking of moving to it. How do you like it?
Und ich hab gestern gelesen, dass Fairphone auf den
amerikanischen Markt erweitern will, weil in Amerika sehr auf Nachhaltigkeit gesetzt wird. Ich kann dir da kein kritisches Urteil abgeben, denn ich hatte nie ein anderes Handy als ein Fairphone und war schon beim Crowdfunding dabei beim Fairphone 1. Das 3er hatte im Vergleich zu anderen eine schlechte Kamera, aber beim Fairphone 6 macht es jetzt Spaß zu fotografieren. Ich muss mich aber noch ein wenig einarbeiten 😀

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem 4er Fairphone, nicht nur weil es mir ein gutes Gefühl gibt. Es wurde inzwischen ja auch technisch weiterentwickelt. Es ist ne Nummer größer bzw. dicker als Du es vielleicht gewohnt bist, dafür kannst Du selbst alle Komponenten austauschen. Phone wird selbstverständlich zurück genommen und recycelt. Ich habe meine seit über 3 Jahre und nie Probleme gehabt, selbst der Akku hält und hält und hält.
Thats what I saw! They are new to us. But I'm looking to get rid of a whole bunch of nonsense and the phone is on the list. It is a good price. Works on Android. As long as it can take pics of the garden and grandkids, I think I'm ready to make a switch.

Bilder sind gut, hoffe bist zufrieden mit den Phone. Habe selbst das 4er, die Kamera ist nicht das Beste. Aber gehe gerne für ein Faires (und Nachhaltiges) Kompromisse ein.
