#RiceBug, #StripedBug I have a question for you: Last year, I had tons of these cute, voracious little rice bug pests in my garden and had to collect a huge number of them. The winter wasn’t extremely cold for the most part, but temperatures were still below 0°C for a long time. This year, I haven’t spotted a single one yet. How about you? Have you had similar experiences? In any case, I haven’t seen anything about them in the chat this year. Instead, there are tons of striped stink bugs this year. Last year I read that it’s a predatory bug and wondered if it had eaten the rice bug? Now I’m reading that it feeds on the seed heads of umbelliferous plants. Does anyone know more about this? The latter would explain why they’re mainly found on carrot and parsley seeds.
