After getting over the initial shock of the storm, I took a good look around and pruned back the bent plants. My sweetheart was able to repair the skylight on the greenhouse. Luckily, I’d staked the dahlias in the zinc tubs one more time just before the storm. I only had to prune the ones in the pots, and a few physalis and chili peppers were snapped off near the base. I harvested the chili peppers that were still green—you can use those too, right? As a thank-you for all your kind and encouraging words, here are a few pictures of the greenhouse, the little bush tomatoes (they survived unscathed), dahlias, zinnias, and strawflowers 💚💜💛❤️

Chillis reifen vielleicht auch nach, wie Paprika . Ich mag Zinnien noch mehr wie Dahlien. Sie haben so schöne Kränzchen.🥰
