I’m really happy right now. The bog bed project is finally complete—including vole protection and all that. I know this is actually the wrong time to transplant the cranberries and blueberries, but they were suffering so much in their pots despite the shade. I just couldn’t stand watching that anymore. Maybe the cranberries will drop their first berries, but I’d rather that than have them die… hopefully my plan works out and they’ll produce a fantastic crop next year. 😉 Here’s the current drought map for Switzerland. It’s pretty extreme—I’ve never seen anything like it before. But I can still water them… though the spring water will probably be turned off soon so the pump doesn’t break. I’m sure it’ll still be fine, though—the barrels are still full. If I use it sparingly, they’ll last me three weeks. Hopefully, we’ll get some rain again by then.
