...The rain started falling at pretty much exactly 9:00 p.m. last night! ...We’d moved some of our most important potted plants under the awning for fear of hail... ...and what can I say? ...the rain fell gently from above, like a little lamb—no lightning, no rumbling thunder, no hail 🙏...sure, it wasn’t enough to really water the garden, but the plants looked refreshed this morning....Now, of course, I’m hoping that my chili patch (with 🌻) will yield at least as well as it did last year 🙏 so I can make plenty of chili sauce again... By the way: I like to skip the mustard with my bratwurst—the chili sauce goes perfectly with it! ...
