The first Pimientos de Padrón are ready! The high temperatures have really made the radishes shoot up—I’m impressed by how many pods you can harvest from a single plant. They make a delicious snack with herb-flavored quark or hummus. I thinned out the beets—maybe a little late, but now we have baby beets!
