Things are happening in the vegetable garden, too: everything has been planted or sown. The pole beans are almost reaching the trellis, the pumpkins planted weeks ago are sprouting, and I probably won’t be able to use all the lettuce (I’m growing some at home too), but the lollo lettuce forms such pretty “little fir trees” when it shoots up 😉 The tomatoes are growing vigorously thanks to manure and grass mulch. Then there are snow peas, corn, cabbage, and sweet potatoes. In between, there are flowers here and there (marigolds, cornflowers, zinnias, safflower, tagetes...) that aren’t very visible yet. If all goes well, this little patch of earth will be a jungle in 6 weeks🤗
