Today we’re making some delicious wild lemonade (still) 😁.
Here’s what you’ll need:
5 ground ivy shoots,
1 blackberry vine,
2 elderflower clusters,
1/2 lime, sliced,
1 handful of black locust blossoms (without any of the highly toxic green parts),
3 strawberries,
50 ml of mahonia juice from the freezer from last fall, and approx.
50 ml of lilac blossom syrup
I highly recommend this in this weather😊
Lilac syrup can certainly be replaced with elderflower syrup (though you’ll lose that wonderfully floral, exotic aroma). Mahonia juice can probably be replaced with aronia juice, though it loses some of its berry flavor (and gains other aromas).
Admittedly, the strawberries and blackberry vine are almost purely decorative,
but the black locust blossoms go perfectly with their crisp, pea-like, sweet flavor.
I can’t recommend it enough: look at your garden with a focus on what’s already growing there. Right now, there’s such an abundance of goodies out there—I can’t even keep up with processing it all, even though I hardly grow anything myself.

Spannendes Rezept.
Robinienblätter kann man essen. Allerdings wie Bohnen nur gekocht.
