“Mariechen” is settling in nicely and has set up her nest near the food source (she also likes to nest near the raspberries, peaches, and purple loosestrife 😉) The next asparagus shoot was ready to harvest, as were two spring turnips and a radish—it’s now white, but maybe it used to be reddish? (I definitely didn’t plant any there, and if I had, they would have been red) Our seedbed is greening up and slowly starting to bloom in places -> Battle against field horsetail
