We had some delicious berries today😋 The Mayberries really live up to their name. Aurora (all but one) is rather elongated and has a pleasantly tart flavor. The short, plump one in the top right is a Blue Hokkaido. Intensely berry-flavored and a touch more tart than its sister. Maybe it was just this first berry that was so tart. It didn’t bear fruit last year and, compared to the Aurora, is only just starting to ripen now. I’m looking forward to the next few days. Of course, there are some strawberries here too, and the wild strawberries in particular taste amazing!

Ich habe auch eine Strauch, die Früchte sind noch ziemlich klein und noch total grün. Sollen die nicht im Mai reif sein ? 🤔
