Description

'Glen Coe' is the result of crossing a red and a black raspberry. It has an extraordinary deep purple-red color. Due to the dark color, this variety is significantly less infested by maggots. The canes of the summer raspberry are very robust and almost thornless. The fruits taste sweet, very aromatic and are suitable for fresh consumption, cakes, jams or freezing.

Non hybrid

Frostproof

Growing tips

It bears fruit on 2-year-old wood, so the canes should always be left standing for 2 years and the harvested canes are then cut back close to the ground after harvesting.
