The raspberry belongs to the rose family. It is a fruit shrub that produces aromatic, sweet and sour fruits and can grow to a height of 0.6 to 2 m, depending on the variety. Its white, clustered flowers bloom from May to June. The raspberry develops fruit in summer. Depending on the variety, they form yellow, black or red berries (actually aggregate stone fruits), which have a high vitamin C content. The bright red and dark ones also contain anthocyanins, which act as antioxidants. Raspberries are popular summer fruits that go well with many desserts, but also taste good on their own. This variety is a cross between raspberries and blackberries. Very aromatic. Grows on biennial wood. Cultivation similar to blackberry. Canes must be tied up and grow up to 3 meters long.
