Description

Evergreen shrub or small tree (1-6 m high). Elongated, leathery, dark green leaves (10-20 cm). Funnel-shaped flowers in umbrella-shaped umbels: white, pink, red, yellow (June-October). Mediterranean shrub, highly poisonous (all parts). Fragrant flowers, robust, long-lived. Not hardy in Central Europe. Balcony/pot plant. Height 2-4 m in containers.

Growing tips

Tub plant: large pots, low in minerals. Overwinter in a cool (5-10 °C), bright place from October. Prune back hard in spring. Toxic - keep children/animals away.
