1ST YEAR
FOLLOWING YEARS
Easy to cultivate. Red stems. Bushy growth, undemanding. White flower in June, decorative. Sour taste. Perennial. Break out for a better harvest. After the 2nd year, only break out 30% of the leaf stalks. Do not cut off. Not suitable for places where rhubarb has previously grown.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
High fertilizer requirement, especially nitrogen. Do not cut the white-cream-colored flowers in June/July, but break them off carefully. As a result, rhubarb grows more abundantly the following year, with large leaves and a large harvest.
