Bright yellow, butter-tender and high-yielding. Both very young fruits and larger specimens taste delicious. The plants grow bushy. They form strong, large leaves.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Cultivation: Sowing in Ø 10 cm pots, 2 grains per pot. Harden off before planting. Leave only the strongest plant. Or directly outdoors from mid-May. Soil temperature for germination at least 18°C. Plant at least 80 x 100 cm apart. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants can pollinate each other. Harvest regularly (from 17 cm) so that new fruits form continuously. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
