F1 hybrid. Particularly tasty green fruits with white stripes. Best harvested young. Flowers are edible. Compact, upright growth. High yielding. Robust. Germination after 1-2 weeks at min. 12°C.

Growing tips

Keep warm by compost or black mulch film after planting helps growth. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected sites. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so new fruit will form continuously. Fertilize and water regularly. Follow crop rotation. Home-grown seeds are strongly discouraged for zucchini because the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin can form. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchini can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
