Elongated golden yellow fruit, sweetish taste, flesh light and creamy, high-yielding compact plants. Zucchini Goldena does not lose its beautiful color when cooked, but has a shorter shelf life. When harvested young (about 15-20 cm), the plants continue to form new zucchini until autumn. Annual, not perennial.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Most often grown indoors and after the last frosts into the bed. But direct sowing in May is also possible. Germination temperature uniform 18-22°C. Sowing depth 1-2cm. Keep moist but not wet. Germination period 7-14 days. Tip: Preharden young plants, mid-May, about 10-14 days outside in a sunny sheltered place.
