The 'Jalapeño Early' is an early maturing Jalapeño with juicy, fleshy and up to 8 cm/3.1 in long fruits. Its flavor is aromatic and its mild spiciness makes it suitable for raw consumption. Jalapeños are among the few chilies that taste great even when green and unripe. If they are red matured, the taste gets a pleasant sweetness. Due to the early ripening, this variety is also suitable for cultivation in regions with a short growing season.
