The Oxhorn variety is a mild, long, thin-walled, cone-shaped sweet bell pepper, initially green and turning red toward maturity. High yielding. Also good for outdoor growing. Germination after 18-22 days at 22-25°C/72-77°F.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C/68°F, more likely 25°C/77°F). A bright location is also important. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits start to form, fertilize about 1 time a week. The first flower can be broken out to encourage the formation of more fruits. Wind-protected locations are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
