Topepo Rosso is an early variety, which is also suitable for outdoor cultivation in full sun. The fruits resemble those of a tomato, are thick-walled and reach a size of 8-10 cm/3.1-3.9 in in diameter. The aroma is sweet and very juicy. They are very suitable for eating raw and for stuffing.
F1 Hybrid
In the greenhouse, the fruits grow larger than 10 cm and ripen already in June. Sowing is carried out from February at 22-25°C/72-77°F. The seedlings appear after 15-30 days. Cover the seeds only very shallowly (light germinators). Plant outdoors only at the end of May. A sunny, warm, wind-protected location in nutrient- and humus-rich soil is required. Harvest from the end of June.
