Description
An old Indian variety with dark, almost black seeds. The color is actually a very dark, warm red, making it a very special, great-looking variety of corn. It is ideal for making popcorn. The finished popcorn made from this variety is of course also visually very unusual, as the puffed corn looks white with a dark red base or husk residue. The corn cobs should be allowed to dry well after harvesting so that the individual kernels can be easily processed later.

Growing tips
Sow from mid-April approx. 2-3 cm deep directly into the open ground. The distance between the plants should be approx. 30-45 cm. Plants sown in a "block" grow better than individual unprotected rows. Sometimes corn is also grown indoors, which increases the yield considerably.
