Elongated, thick, green drift and field cucumber, used as salad, pickling and mustard cucumber; old variety from 1878; valuable cultural asset. On the Red List for endangered crops.

From time to time a little prune to promote growth and the development of fruits. Cucumbers need a lot of water and a little fertilizer every now and then.
