We’re clearing everything out this weekend. Next week, temperatures are set to drop sharply toward zero degrees. @yacon-138873 has been a big hit when eaten raw so far! And I’ve been drinking this loose-leaf tea for the third day in a row now… In the greenhouse, I’m trying onions for the first time. I’ve also planted winter peas and sugar snap peas, since they didn’t grow outdoors last year. I’ll use a few of the chayote tips as spinach. I’ve put the sweet potato in a glass of water. Maybe I’ll manage to get it to sprout? It put out roots super fast. Since it’s so easy to prune, I’m curious to see how it goes… Physalis, bell peppers, and chili peppers got to come into the warm living room, too. Yessss, winter is long… I won’t turn the lights back on until February. I’ll give it a try.
