I’ve dug up the first raised bed, and it was really long overdue. The soil at the bottom was so hard that only some serious hammering could break it up. They must be at least twenty years old. I underestimated just how compacted they can get. Let’s see if I can get the second bed done today. The weather is nice, and then I could start building the tomato greenhouse next week. For a pick-me-up, I had soup made with vegetables from the garden.🥰
