@sanddorn-188907 is giving it its all. It’s been there for three years now. Last year, one jar of jam. In 2026, 1.2 kg—and it’s still hanging… The old apple tree—variety unknown—has once again given us a bountiful harvest this year! We’re taking 50 kg to the cider mill. The rest will be turned into applesauce (from windfall apples)—we’ve already made 24 jars—and the biggest and best ones will be eaten as is. #Thanksgiving!! @zucchini are slowly dwindling. Two “submarines” have time to produce seeds—hopefully?? Spaghetti squash is still yielding a bit, but only from the plant at the foundation’s nursery. My tomatoes are still hanging there, absolutely bursting with fruit. It hasn’t frozen here yet… The @physalis are spoiling me again while I’m gardening! I also harvested the potatoes today—the ones that didn’t have any leaves left. Some actually look better now than they did in the summer, so I’m leaving them for now. Bell peppers, sweet potatoes, yacon, and chayotes still have to produce, too 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪 Carrots and tomatoes are overrunning a raised bed. Six to eight weeks ago, it was completely bare there. That’s how it goes sometimes. My kale has been eaten 🤨 Tomorrow I’ll tidy up two beds and the greenhouse. Can I still sow seeds outside now? Except for lamb’s lettuce—that’s already coming back on its own.
