It’s rained quite a bit here in the last few weeks. And plants like mountain mint, blue rue, wild marjoram, speedwell, and catnip are blooming again 😃 The insects are happy about that, too 🐝 Here are a few photos from tonight. We had a good potato harvest this year. But the potatoes are just pretty small. 😞 🤔 I’ve been thinking about how I can water the potatoes better. Just using a soaker hose didn’t work so well this year. The water only reached the tops of the plants. And we ended up watering the space between the plants for nothing, since the plants didn’t have any roots there. I’m now trying out a drip hose with an empty pipe. Here’s the last photo, and I’ll keep you posted, of course.
