Fuzzy Nectarine😂 After the beaver cut down my nectarine tree two or three times—and it still kept sprouting back from the stump—it’s bearing fruit for the first time this year. It’s in pretty good health—hardly any leaf curl disease. It’s bearing a lot of fruit, though it seems to be too cold here—the fruit is covered in fuzz😂 Now they’re ripening, and I tried the first peach today—it was delicious. Last year you guys figured out that my kiwi, Jenny, is an ornamental kiwi; this year, my nectarine is covered in fuzz. I still have the labels for both plants—otherwise, I’d really start doubting myself. In my rose bed, there’s a yellow garden rose that’s currently about 3 meters tall—so it’s more of a rambler than a garden rose. I really have a knack for shopping. Always good for a surprise🤣
