Ich weiß ja nicht, ob ich mit unseren Feigen so freigebig wäre 🫣 dafür habe ich noch zu wenig, um nicht zu sagen: noch nicht eine ansatzweise reife 🫣 Aber schön, dass die Vögel bei dir naschen dürfen. Bei mir darf es Dauer der Hase mit Gemüse und anderen Pflanzen 🤭

The nest is facing the afternoon hot sun, maybe the entrance location helps with air circulation and cooling the nest from the extreme heat, but who knows what those tiny finch brains think 🤔 while building their nest.

Yes, they chose the highest window for building their nest, well protected from animals but a hawk can easily reach the window, since the nest is ball shaped with bottom entrance, maybe that will give a chance to the birds to block the hawk from reaching the newly hatched birds.
