My four sunflowers are starting to bloom. 🥰 I planted the new strawberry bed today, intercropping it with chives. I still have enough runners in case some of them don’t take. In the new perennial bed, I divided the irises. There was so much couch grass in there. I mixed in some sand and watered it well. Despite the rain, the bed was bone-dry because the soil is low in organic matter. Afterward, I applied a thin layer of mulch.
