Back to the topic of Miscanthus—or, as it’s called here, hemp bedding. All my bush beans have sprouted. The bedding keeps the soil moist and doesn’t clump together. The light color helps reflect some of the sun’s rays. I just sowed all the varieties I still had left. The snack cucumbers are slowly recovering. The cabbage is holding up well, though it’s also in partial shade. My tomatoes are struggling a bit this year. These are the Moneymaker and Goldita varieties. Though I don’t really like the taste of the yellow one. Brad’s Atomic Grape is my favorite right now, but there aren’t many of those. I love sunflowers, but I was too late with the sowing again this year. I tried to take a picture of the carpenter bee. She loves the runner bean. And finally, an update on the ginger. It’s recovered. I’m curious to see how it turns out.

Also in größerer Menge.

Ich muss erst was besorgen.
