My first asparagus peas
Tried a few small ones raw—they were okay, nothing special. Slightly nutty. Don't taste like asparagus.
But they're sexy, and so is the bright red flower.

I have never seen such a beautiful pea, well done!
You eat them whole like snow peas or do you shell them? I've seen them but have stuck to the snow peas.

Da wird nichts geschält. Die Erbsen sind so groß wie Reiskörner - das lohnt nicht.
Aber hab auch gerade erfahren dass man sie nicht roh essen sollte. 😅 vielleicht haben sie deshalb nicht so toll geschmeckt.
After I asked, I googled. An inch long...no thank you. Other things have pretty red flowers.
