I had the day off on the spur of the moment today. Made it out to the garden as early as 8:30. Before and after. The tomatoes are actually looking good. But they’re drooping a bit. An impromptu attempt to give them some relief. I couldn’t do more than that, because the sun’s getting to me, too. Is the pineapple tomato in the pot already full of fruit? Of course, almost ALL the tomatoes have more than one shoot again. They’re just faster than I am. And once there are already flowers on them, I just can’t bring myself to prune them anymore. Besides, it turns out that some of the tomatoes that sprouted wild are actually side shoots from the low-set tomatoes. :-D Obsidentify says it’s a sleep poppy. First flower I’ve seen. But there are already lots of capsules. Half an hour later, the petals were gone. Flower from the pod radish.
