Today, the potato bed (with asparagus salad, broad beans, marigolds, and phacelia) surprised me with a beautiful triple bloom of white flowers. The mixed-culture beds are already looking beautifully colorful too—I really need to harvest some lettuce today, but only after we head home. The corn is acting strangely this year 🤪 The cover crop is green and “yellow,” and the Inca clover is also slowly starting to bloom. Oh, and little violets are hiding in the cover crop—I’ll transplant them when I get the chance. I wonder where they might have come from? 🤔
