I’m still in the midst of mourning, but over the weekend that nasty Death Star really fried over half of my seedlings… even though they were on the north side, where only a narrow strip about the width of a towel gets direct sunlight for just a brief moment, and despite the fact that I poured 2 liters of water into all the saucers every morning. It still hurts a bit, but maybe by tonight I’ll have processed the losses emotionally enough to feel ready to resow all my favorite little plants that passed away 🥲🥲🥲 Nasty weather—already over 30 degrees again today 🥵 But hey, at least the second batch of expensive Chinese cabbage survived. THE first batch had already fallen victim to a prolonged absence during a hot weekend back in early May, so don’t lose heart 🤞
