In other news, the "Front Yard" project is finally starting to take shape, little by little… today, the first quarter has been dug up, sifted, and replanted 💪
And the first two plants have already been planted :) There will be more, of course, but all in good time.
The sun starts coming around the front of the house at 10 a.m., so I had to make a hasty exit from my workspace to ensure I maintained a viable body temperature throughout the morning 🥵

Yep. Ich habe mit Lehmziegeln im Boden und direkte Weiterleitung der Dach-Regenrinne ge"doped" 😬
Pfingstrose? Und der linke Strauch ist was?
Sieht doch schon ganz schön aus. Was möchtest Du denn noch da einpflanzen?
Ja, eine rote Pfingstrose, und eine kleine weiße Forsythie :) Später sollen noch eine Winterkirsche und diverse Insektenstauden dazu kommen, Krokusse, Lavendel, Sandthymian… bestenfalls soll über's ganze Jahr was blühen :)
